Amelia's First Hike

This Saturday Anna Amelia and I went hiking up to Lake Mary in Big Cottonwood canyon and it was GREAT!  the weather was perfect and even though there was snow in some parts of the trail it was a breeze.

Here we are ready to go all snuggled up in the Baby Bjorn.

And here we are just above the lower water falls looking north at the Wasatch crest.

  The lake was gorgeous and COMPLETELY full.

Its also about as all as the dam in this image from last year (i took this picture about halfway between the shore and nub)

Mom and Amelia.  She did really good but we forgot to bring her bottle to the top, so we couldn't linger like we wanted.  Fortunately she lasted the full 3 hours.

Then she had dinner 1 a the bottom on her very first chair.  First tracks only X years AWAY!
